Stunning grounds and friendly staff, but ran out of milk for in-room tea.

Historical atmosphere, well-maintained grounds, medieval banquet nights
Parking fees feel excessive!!! Room upgrades should come without pressure!!! A clearer communication about menu items and potential charges would help avoid confusion!!! General cleanliness requires improvement in dining areas and after events!!!

we had a fab time at coombe abbey, it’s such a beautifull place with amazing history and quirky decorations in therooms. breakfast was to die for with so many options and the afternoon tea was top notch. the gardens are great for chillin and exploring nature, perfect for a relaxing getaway. even the staff were super friendly, always around to help with a smile.
the dinner service was a bit off, we waited ages to get seated and then the food took a while. also, brekkie was confusing, like no one told us how it worked so we just stood there waiting.

missingWrote a review on Sept 23entertaining banquetdelicious foodcharming picnic areaexpensive diningbroken ev chargers
The dining at Coombe Abbey was a delightful journey! The Medieval Banquet was a riot of entertainment, and while the food was lovely and hot, some drink alternatives would’ve been spot on. The grounds make for a perfect picnic spot, too! Also, the location was brilliant with plenty of charming spots nearby to explore.
Now, let’s not sugarcoat it. The dining prices felt a tad steep for what you get. And that EV charging situation outside? Cringe. Most of the charge points were outta order, which is a right bummer for eco-conscious travelers like me.
